The model or reference number is typically found in your watch’s paperwork, such as certificates and warranty cards. Some brands also engrave the model number on the case. For example, Rolex engraves the reference number on the lugs at 12 o’clock, where the case meets the bracelet. You may need to remove the bracelet to view it. If you are unsure of your watch’s model or reference number, please include as many photos as possible in your submission for our team to assess.

The Watch King NYC appraises watches based on current and historical sales and market data. Our experts gather detailed information about your watch, including the brand, model, accessories, age, and condition. To receive an accurate valuation, please complete our Sell and Trade form.

Yes, clients are free to decline any offer. If you have questions about the valuation, you are welcome to discuss them with your designated watch expert.

We provide a pre-paid shipping label and guidelines for properly packing your watch. Shipping and insurance costs are covered by us. Proper packing is essential to ensure full insurance coverage.

Upon accepting our offer, you will receive payment within 24 hours via eCheck delivered to your email or by check. If you choose to trade, you can apply the full value toward any item in our inventory.

The trade-in process typically takes 4-7 business days from start to finish, though this can vary. We strive to make the process as smooth as possible, from submitting your watch to receiving the watch you traded for.

If the value of your watch exceeds the value of the watch you’re trading for, The Watch King NYC will pay you the difference via check or bank wire transfer.
